1924-2008
Titus, Ethel Lorraine … Surrounded by her family, the death of
Lorraine Titus of Dwyer Road, West Saint John occurred at her
residence on Saturday, June 28, 2008. She was born on February 2, 1924
in West Saint John to the late George and Sarah (Chase) Stackhouse.
Lorraine along with her late husband Ted Titus, were the owners and
operators of Titus Bakery until their retirement. She was a long time
member of Trinity Anglican Church and the Trinity Choir.
She is survived by four sons: Theodore (Cathy) of Toronto, ON, Christopher (Sharon) of Saint John, NB, David (Kimberley) of Sussex, NB and Anthony of Saint John, NB; four daughters: Sally Titus, Clara Graham (Joe), Melissa Goguen (Frank) and Jennifer Weagle (Rod) all of Saint John, NB; four sisters: Margaret Lee, Shirley Stackhouse, Frances Coloris and Vivian Garrett; 14 grandchildren: Theo, Joshua, Jacqueline, Rachel, Sarah, Christopher, Isabelle, Emilie, Katie, Emma, Peter, Simon, Aaron and Isaac; one great grandson, Nathaniel; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents Lorraine was predeceased by one brother George and two sisters: Barbara Stackhouse and Mary Bauer.
Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with private family visitation only. The public funeral service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church, 115 Charlotte Street on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Trinity Anglican Church , the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Saint John Regional Hospital Extra Mural Program.
