Taylor, Michael F. … The death of Michael “Mike”
Frederick Taylor of Saint John West, husband of Lorraine (Walton)
Taylor, occurred peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2008 at his
residence. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Mark and
Vera “Peggy” (Brakspear) Taylor. He was employed at the
Saint John Shipbuilding, and was currently employed with IBEW Local
502. Mike was a member of St. George’s Anglican Church and St.
Joseph’s Guild. He enjoyed reading, writing, cooking, bowling
and was a huge fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Besides his wife
Lorraine, he is survived by three daughters, Dawn (Troy)
Chetley-Campbell of London, On, Danielle Dugas and Laura Dugas both of
Ottawa, ON; four brothers, Tony (Anne) Brakspear of Oslo, Norway,
James (Molly) Taylor, Richard (Ginette) Taylor and Mark Taylor all of
Saint John; two sisters, Terri Clark and Lynn Taylor both of Saint
John; two grandchildren, Lauren and Kieran Chetley-Campbell, several
cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise
Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, August 13,
2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday,
August 14, 2008 from St. George’s Anglican Church at 2:30 pm.
Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
