It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lawrence Geoffrey Dutcher of Saint John announce his passing on October 6, 2017 at the age of 89. Born in Bay du Vin, Northumberland County on August 27, 1928, he was the son of the late Geoffery and Emily (Kingston) Dutcher.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Dutcher and longtime companion, Beatrice Swallow. Lawrence was the sole remaining sibling of brothers, Henry Dutcher, Sylvanus Dutcher, Arnold Dutcher and sisters, Lyna Maguire, Ethel Dykeman and Mildred Flemming.
