Brenda Ann Fudge McNeil

The death of Brenda Fudge McNeil, wife of Tim McNeil, occurred on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on October 25, 1953 at Collingwood, ON to the late Charles and Catherine (Vey) Merritt. Brenda was employed at the admitting department in the Saint John Regional Hospital for over 10 years and retired form Irving Oil Ltd. Due to failing health.

Besides her husband Tim, Brenda is survived by a son, Chris Booker (Elizabeth Young) of Comox, BC; sister, Sharon (Paul) McDevitt of Saint John; brother, Robert Merritt of Saint John; grandchild, McKaila Duplessie, life long friend, Mary “Debbie” (Gerard) Blanchard and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her step father William Mann.

Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Animal Rescue League or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
