MARKS, Jean Marie, Jean Marie Marks, Saint John, passed away on March 06, 2010, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Stephen, she was a daughter of the late James Earl and Isabel A. (Carruthers) Hobbs.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Terri Lynn Marks, NS; Susanne Lori Baron, ON; sister, Pearl Cheney, Pennfield Ridge; bother in law, Thomas Tracey; 5 grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Malcolm and Basil; sisters Melva Tracey and Rena Orr.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, March 8, from 7-9, and Tuesday, March 9, from 2-4, 7-9. Funeral service for Jean will take place on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Saint John. Remembrances in memory of Jean may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or a charity of choice.
