Frances (Fran) Clayton
1933-2010
Frances “Fran” “Tupp” Clayton of Baxter’s Corner, wife of the late Donald J. Clayton, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on June 12, 1933 in Saint John to the late Sanford and Lillian (Robinson) Speight. Fran worked as a driver for Canada Post then for School District 8 as a Bus Driver. She was a member of the Silver Links Seniors Group and Loch Lomond Mixed Bowling League. Fran loved Bingo; she played every Wednesday Night for the Animal Rescue League. She was an avid curling fan. Fran loved and was loved by all her grandchildren.
Fran is survived by her four children: Francie – Jean Wickens (Allan) of Saint John, Jack Ellis (Holly) of Quispamsis, Sandy Ellis (Tina) of Saint John and Jane Levesque (Rowan MacLean) of Saint John; their father, Robert “Bob” Ellis; brother, George Keeling; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Fran was predeceased by three brothers: Ernie Keeling, Donald Speight and infant brother Carl; two sisters: Marjorie Longmire and Betty Clements and two infant children.

from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service
will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, July 22, 2010
at 10 AM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
