Carrie Isabel Mullen

1923-2010

Carrie Isabel Mullen passed away at her home on Saturday August 14, 2010. She was born on October 11, 1923 at Ft. Fairfield, ME to the late Tom and Mildred Williams. Carrie was the wife of the late song evangelist Paul Mullen.

She invested her life in her husband and children.  They were married in Ft. Fairfield, Maine on May 23, 1946.  Her husband followed in his parents footsteps and became a gospel singer and accomplished pianist.  After living in Yarmouth, Truro and Havelock, (NS) and a tragic car accident in 1957, the family moved to Ft. Fairfield, Maine, where she cared for her parents and lived, while her husband traveled.  She cared for her family until her parents passed away and her youngest daughter graduated in 1975, and then traveled fulltime with Paul.  They retired in 1995, remaining at Beulah Camp in Brown's Flat, NB where they were an active part of the Wesleyan Fellowship.

She is survived by her children: Dwight (Carol) of Victorville, CA, David (Debbie) of McKinney, TX, Lois Libby (Paul) Garland, TX, Dan (Edie) of Grand Manan, NB and Liane Hayes (Michael) of Richardson, TX and sister, Glenice Churchill of Halifax, NS.

Carrie was a dedicated wife and mother; she devoted her life to her family. She lives on in the lives of her five children, eleven grand children and fourteen great grandchildren.
