Audrey E. Wetmore

Audrey Wetmore, wife of the late Frank Olive Wetmore, passed away on September 8, 2010 at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Born at Saint John on July 21, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lottie (Thomas) Young. Audrey worked as a sales clerk at Scovils, and Calps.

She is survived by her children Carole (Jack) Smith, of Missouri, Stanley (Daphne) Wetmore of Saint John, and Walter (Cindy) Wetmore of Lower Sackville, NS, as well as her grandchildren Greg Smith, Audrey Carter, Thomas Wetmore, Amanda Wetmore, Andrew Wetmore, Stephanie Wetmore, Kenneth Wetmore, Patrick Wetmore, and Mark Wetmore. In addition to her husband, Audrey was pre-deceased by her parents, as well as her sister Florence Jennings.

Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, (634-7425) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 10th at 3:00pm from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
