Terrence "Terry" Patrick Hebert
1945-2012
It is with great sadness that the family announces the
passing of Terrence "Terry" Patrick Hebert of Saint John,
husband of Phyllis (Nice) Hebert, which occurred on Thursday, January
26, 2012 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born on March 28, 1945 he was a
son of the late Placide and Dorothy (O’Keefe)
Hebert.
Terry was a very devoted and loving husband, father,
grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin. He will be
sadly missed by all who knew him. Terry loved spending time with his
grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. He enjoyed
fishing with his best friend Brian. Terry was a member of St. Rose of
Lima Church. He retired from Irving Pulp and Paper after 37
years.
Terry is survived by his wife, Phyllis; four step-children,
Paul Basque of Riverview, NB; Ronald (Kim) Basque of Salisbury, NB;
Robert Basque of Toronto, ON and Karen (Dan) LeFort of Saint John;
five grandsons, Christopher, Andrew, Matthew, Anthony and Robert; two
granddaughters, Ashley and Alanna; one great-grandson, Ayden; one
sister, Tanya (George) Hamilton of Saint John; two nieces, Beth
(Gerry) Fox and Heather (Steve) Newman; one nephew, Kevin (Lori)
Buckley; special cousins, Mary Lou, Billy and Brian.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bobby’s
Hospice, 5AN of the Saint John Regional Hospital, and Rhonda and Dr.
Searles, for their care and compassion.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral
Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425)
with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 30, 2012 at
11:00 am from St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment to take place at a
later date. For those who wish remembrances may be made to
Bobby’s Hospice or the Children’s Wish Foundation
would be appreciated by the family.
