Gordon Ronald  Dunham

Surrounded by his family the death of Gordie Dunham occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 31, 2012. He was born on May 10, 1945 in Saint John to the late Sarah Snodgrass (Dunham).Gordie worked for many years at CN Rail, the City of Saint John and Fairview Bowling Lanes. He was an avid bowler, he bowled with the Kingpins. Gordie loved spending time with his grandchildren and fishing when he could get away. He was a huge Boston Bruins fan. (the defending Stanley Cup Champions).

 

Gordie is survived by his daughters: Heather Cross of Winnipeg and Debbie Stevens  (Chris) of Grand Bay-Westfield; brother, Ronald Sullivan; brothers and sisters-in-law; Edward Carlisle (Florence), Ervine Carlisle, and Cora Anderson; grandchildren Mark, Sarah, Stephanie, Devin, Matthew, Matheson, and Jessie-Lynn; his friend, Jack Given and close companion Barb Tooker; and several other brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

 

Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM.  Interment will take place at a later date.  For those who wish, remembrances to the New Brunswick Lung Association or Romero House would be appreciated by the family.
