Sylvia Mae Nadeau
1942-2012
Sylvia Nadeau of Saint John passed away at home on June 27,
2012. Born in Saint John on October 18, 1942, she was a daughter of
the late James and Bessie (Palmer) Buchanan. Sylvia is survived by her
children Tammy (Brian), Blaine (Faye), Donnie (Kelly), sister
Elizabeth Buchanan, grandchildren Kyle, Danielle, Katelynn B.,
Katelynn H., Jessica, Alison, Hayley, Cody and Kiley, as well as her
long time companion, Vernon Phillips, and close friends Linda Fudge
and Nancy Stevens.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia was pre-deceased by her
first husband, Melvin Denton, second husband, Paul Nadeau, and her
twin brother, Sydney Buchanan.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on
Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral
Service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on
Saturday, June 30th at 10:00 am. Interment will
take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish,
remembrances to the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society
