Donna Joy Ellen MacLean
1944-2012
Donna MacLean of South Musquash, wife of the late Charles
Maynard MacLean, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 at her residence.
Born at Saint John on March 26, 1944, she was a daughter of the late
Donald R. and Edith (Briggs) Clayton. She worked for the District 8
School Board as a school bus driver for 32 years. She loved to boat,
camp and play the guitar. Donna was a member of the Church Of Jesus
Christ Of Latter Day Saints.
Donna is survived by five children: Robert (Norma) MacLean,
Garnett (Shelley) MacLean, Alec (Laurie) MacLean, Michael
(Holly) MacLean, and Terri Lynn (Kevin) Brideau; brother,
Eugene Clayton and sister, Lynn Cyr; thirteen grandchildren,
three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was
predeceased her husband, parents and brothers: Donnie, Wilfred
"Buddy" and Robert "Bobby".
Resting at Brenan's Funeral
Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with
visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The
funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 am
from Brenan’s Chapel with a reception to follow. Interment
will take place in Mosher Hill Cemetery, St. Martins. For those who
wish, remembrances to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the
Diabetes Association, would be appreciated by the family.

Very sorry to hear the Passing of your mom. I remember Donna well. I would go to Green Acers Camp site with my Aunt Fran Clayton and Donna would always be there with her guitar and playing the good old tunes. I also got a chance to go on a bus route taken High School students to a function which was not long ago. We had a great Conversation. Knowing Others will feel your lose as well.
