Alexander Joseph Lozier

1934-2012

Alexander Joseph Lozier, husband of the late Eileen (Lochead) Lozier, passed away on July 8, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John, NB on January 12, 1934, he was a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Savoie) Lozier. Alexander worked as a painter until his retirement.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Smith (Bradley) of Baxters Corner; grandchildren: Alex and Emma; brother, Frank Lozier (Myra); sisters: Jeanette Dobbelsteyn (Raymond), Eileen Juliano (George) and Mamie Desjardins. Alexander was predeceased by his wife; parents; son, Michael Joseph Lozier; sisters: Rita O’Regan and Edith Doiron and brothers: Alfie Savoie and Eddie Lozier.

In keeping with Alexander’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Alexander’s interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the East Branch Public Library or Animal Rescue League would be appreciated by the family. Karen and family would like to thank the Palliative Care Unit (SJRH), Heart Function Clinic and the IV Day Hospital at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their kindness and support during this difficult time.  Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
