I just read the sad news of your Mother's passing and I am sad with you. Your Mom was such a sweet woman and so hospitable and sincere when I would go to your place OR even following high school whenever I would see her out in the Mall or around Saint John. Alanna, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you today and the days to come. I know what it feels like to lose your mother. My mother's memorial was July 29,2010. I'm glad we were able to connect when our mothers were in the hospital at the same time. The Christmas tree that you brought to Mom's room brightened her spirits and went with her when she eventually went to Rocmaura. My daughter, Denise, who operates the salon there, has it on display at Christmas. Every time I see it, I think of you and your mother with fond memories. Both our mothers suffered with that terrible disease, alzheimers. Know that your mother truly is in a better place, Alanna...free from confusion and any other ailments.
