Condolences
I want to send my condolences to the Hanlon family on the passing of a great friend, family member and Gert will be missed by all. Stephenson Tower will not be the same. Gert was always happy and great person to talk to. When my nan(Barb Hachey) moved into Stephenson Tower Gert became a great friend to our family and I will never forgot all the great conversations and visits I had over the 9 yrs knowing her. Everytime I drove into the parking lot no matter what I had on the agenda if she was sitting outside I always made an effort to say hi. The great memories between Gert and I will never be forgotten. One of those moments was the night of my High School Graduation and included her in my special day. Gert and I had a great friendship and I have so many memories and lots of names that Gert called me. I will miss her very much and will always remember Gert.
From,
Scott Wickens

So sorry for your loss. Gert was a great friend to my Mother, Joyce Murphy, and in turn to her children, Dana and Sherri.
She was dearly loved by my children Zachary and Madyson. She used to love to go to Mom's when she knew that they were going to be there. Zach loved to play "beaches" with Gert. It was a special game to them. We always celebrated the special holidays with Gert, Christmas, Easter and Birthdays and will greatly miss her.

It is with great sadness for the loss of Gert Hanlon. She was a very nice person. She had the best sense of humor of anyone we knew. Gert was a great friend, bundle of joy with her wit and smile. She will surely be missed by all of us especially her good friend Barb Hachey. She may be gone but will never be forgotten.
