Percy Montford

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Percy Montford, he died peacefully with dignity on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Ridgewood Veterans Home in Saint John. Born on December 22, 1918, he was the son of Walter and Rebecca (Beckwith)  Montford.

Condolences

Sorry to hear that my favorite of all uncles has passed. He did live a busy and full life. I wanted you to know that growing up and later he and Ern were always there for me. Be it so long ago at various church and school functions, summers with your family in NOva Scotia and Fredericton. Ern & Perc were at my graduation and made sure the rest of the aunts and uncles who were in driving distance made it as well. Perc was very proud of the fact that I was the first Montford to graduate from high school. Even though I haven't been able to make it to NB for a few years, I tried to speak with Perc once or twice a year. He will be missed by many - Love Donna
